Where to Buy Big Size Shoes (EU 45+) in Vietnam: The Complete 2026 Guide

If you wear EU 45 or above and you've tried shoe shopping in Vietnam, you already know the punchline: most Vietnamese shops simply stop at EU 43, maybe 44 on a good day.

This isn't just your bad luck. Ask any tall expat here — it's one of the most repeated complaints on the Expat.com Vietnam forums and in every "Expats in Saigon" Facebook group. Vietnamese retail stocks for Vietnamese feet, and the market for size 46+ is too small for local shops to bother with.

Here's every real option, including the ones that don't involve us.

Option 1: The handful of local big-size shops

They exist, but the list is short:

• AHA "Cao To" (HCMC, Tân Bình district) — the best-known big-and-tall shop, running since 2008, stocks shoes in 44-48. A genuinely useful place; selection leans formal and sizes sell out, but they do free HCMC delivery.
• Russian Market area (HCMC District 1) — occasionally has larger sneakers, mostly export overruns. Hit or miss, sizes inconsistent, and you'll want to check stitching carefully.
• Da Nang / Hanoi — even thinner. XL Store Vietnam in Da Nang (run by expats, for expats) focuses on clothing; shoes are not their strength.

If you need one pair of black office shoes tomorrow, start there. If you want actual choice — running shoes, sandals, boots, anything in a current style — keep reading.

Option 2: Shopee and Lazada Vietnam

Search "giày size lớn" and you'll find some listings. Three problems:

1. Most "size 46" listings are Chinese drop-ship items anyway — you're paying a middleman markup for a 2-week delivery you could arrange yourself, cheaper.
2. Counterfeits are rampant in shoes specifically. Refunds land in ShopeePay, which you can't withdraw without a Vietnamese ID and bank account.
3. The interface, seller chat and dispute process are all in Vietnamese.

Option 3: Order from China (what we do)
